As a little girl growing up in Montana I always wanted a Pony; but instead, I had to be satisfied with riding my Aunt Clara’s miniature horse who was aging with a very bad attitude. To this day I can still see him running down the lane with the fence post he was tied to thumping along behind him. Luckily the rest of the fence stayed in place!
I live in Texas now and I still do not have a horse. So I paint them and take liberty with colors. Hope you don’t mind a purple horse or two as you view Lacy and Her Yearling.
